Housekeeping
GREAT FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY
The primary purpose of this job position is to perform a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties in various areas to maintain the community in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition.Housekeepers clean and maintain apartments, offices and common areas. The job requires standing and walking and moderate lifting.
DAILY TASKS
Clean apartment as assigned, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
Change and replenish bed linens and towels
Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
Dispose of trash
Respond to special requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
SKILLS/TALENTS
Passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment, ability to follow written and verbal directions, organizational skills, ability to work independently, ability to work in a team atmosphere, ability to work at elevated levels.
EDUCATION
On-the-job training.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years of age to apply. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Must be willing to stand and walk the entire work schedule, including moderate lifting (up to 25 pounds)
