Food Scientist II
This is your chance to work for an innovative, high growth food manufacturer who is focused on New Product Development! You will be given novel and interesting projects to lead in this Food Scientist II role. You will conceptualize and develop new products through commercialization and will also support the maintenance of our existing brands. All of this is accomplished through a cohesive team effort so if you are interested in being a part of an R&D team this may be the job for you!!
Required Background:
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering or Natural Sciences is required
MS or equivalent experience is desirable
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Food Scientist I in food, beverage, or ingredients is required.
Strong verbal communication skills
Successful history of working with a team.
Knowledge of the extrusion process would be a plus.
Knowledge with Gluten Free products would be a plus.
Knowledge with baked snack foods would be a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
