Header Set-up Operator

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Set-up and operate multi-station transfer header.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
Set-up many different multi-station transfer headers and coldformers to produce good parts at standard.
Operate header, doing required quality checks to ensure good parts.
Troubleshoot problems, working with die repair and engineering.
Maintain equipment, tools and materials.
Follow all quality standards and procedures.
Adhere to Company policies as described in Associate handbook.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
Other tasks as assigned.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Reasonable proficiency in English (reading, speaking and writing). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Close vision- must be able to read small numbers ex: micrometers
Distance vision- must be able to evaluate changing surroundings to remain safe
Color vision- must be able to differentiate colors ex: red scrap pans
Peripheral vision- must be aware of surrounding to operate safely ex: forklifts
Depth perception- must be able to interpret features such as threads and holes
Ability to adjust focus- size of parts and features on parts may vary
Loud noise (examples: metal can manufacturing department, large earth-moving equipment) is typical for the work environment of this job.
Experience on National headers a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
