Seeking a Software Applications Engineer IRSAE
Our Client Company is a global leader in the development of advanced machine tools for the worlds aerospace, transportation, energy, and other heavy industries. They are currently seeking a Software Applications Engineer in Rockford, IL. The salary is $45K - $85K, with relocation assistance available.
The Software Applications Engineer for the Composites Division becomes part of a development team that creates software dedicated to the design and manufacturing of composite structures for a variety of applications, including, but not limited to, aerospace vehicles. Rank and salary depend upon background/experience.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Alternatively, BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with sufficient experience in a software development environment
Recent industry or academic experience in software development
Any kind of experience related to manufacturing, industrial machinery or customer support for software
applications (a plus!)
Programming knowledge and skills in C++
Solid math background with vectors, 3D geometry, transformations, etc.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
