Our client, a leading supplier of composite metal cutting machine tools, is seeking a Software Application Engineer for their composites division to develop software dedicated to the design and manufacturing of composite structures.
Design, analysis, and programming of software applications for automated equipment used in composite manufacturing using C++
Prepare design specifications, analysis, and recommendations
Support the ?manufacturing process integration? for composite parts
Provide customer support for software deployment and maintenance
Become very knowledgeable of the entire Hardware & Software Infrastructure for automated machine tools and robotics equipment
Qualifications Sought:
Bachelors
computer
Science or related field or BS degree in engineering
Recent experience in Software Development
Visual C+
programming required
Visual Studio; MFC, COM, or Win 32 desired
Experience related to Manufacturing, Industrial Machinery, or customer support for Software
Applications is a plus
CAD, CAM, and/or FEA a strong plus
Solid math background with vectors, 3D geometry, transformations, etc.
Communications programming (serial, sockets, pipes, etc.)
Good communication and interpersonal skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
