OverviewPosition Summary DetailsThe office support is responsible for assisting customers with their parking needs as well as providing useful information and services pertaining to parking around the city of Rockford and assisting as a team lead on an event day.
Essential FunctionsWork involves computer data entry, customer service support, administrative duties and evaluation of information.
Resolves parking concerns on phone by documenting the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting complaints and following up to ensure resolution.
Provide top notch customer service by greeting each customer and visitor with a smile and a warm welcome.
Maintains customer appeal records by updating account informationReceive intercom daily and help customers with their parking needsManually entering citation tickets in the system and help customers with appeal processEducate customers how the appeal process works and help them to mitigate challengesSchedule citation appeals and follows up with customers for further information if needed.
Assist customers in citation payment and schedule appeal request for hearing.
Report any customer issues to management for immediate attention.
Provide continuous feedback to management as needed.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job duties may be modified at any time.
Work on events and report to the district manager any issue of concern to be addressed QualificationsHS diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of one (1) year customer service experience recommendedData entry experience is an added advantageMicrosoft applications experience neededExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work any shifts; including weekends and holidays as needed.
