We are currently accepting applications for an Industrial Machine Maintenance Technician.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Maintenance support for production machinery Troubleshoot, repair, & maintain machine components (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) Install, troubleshoot, repair, & maintain machine electrical components as necessary to maintain control performance and overall machine efficiency in accordance with system standards and machine tool specifications Basic electrical maintenance (PLC's, A/C, DC motors, CNC controls, and drives) Running conduit, wire and terminate devices, and performing quality control testing Skills/
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 year of mechanical/electrical machine troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
Degree and or specialized training in related field a plus.
Proficient in reading and applying mechanical prints and electrical schematics for troubleshooting of machine issues.
Ability to lift/ carry parts/equipment up to 75 pounds.
On job success in safety, attendance and quality of work.
Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills.
Willingness to cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
Willingness to work overtime as required to insure plant production stays on pace.
Proficient with computer systems to aid in daily maintenance processes, spare part ordering and work order documentation.
This is a full-time 2nd shift position that may require regular overtime based on workflow demands, including long shifts and mandatory weekend work.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well independently as well as with others in a team environment and keep a cool head in stressful situations.
Candidates should be highly organized, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintain an organized and clean work area, possess a good work ethic, demonstrate reliable and punctual work habits with a strong attention to details, demonstrate safety consciousness, be self-motivated with a proven capacity to multi-task, and conduct themselves professionally at all times.
Computer literacy required; working knowledge of MS Window platform and MS Office programs preferred.
