Job Description:
Machine Tool manufacturing company looking for a Software Applications Engineer. Experience should be with C+
programming for Windows with some work in an industrial manufacturing industry.
Skills we want to see for the Software Applications Engineer (the more, the better):
o Visual C++, VC++, VC++6, VC++.NET (must have C+
knowledge/background, the Visual C+
helps us tell us it was on Windows, not Unix or embedded)
o Visual Studio or VS (versions could be 6, .NET, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2008, or 2010) - again, the Visual Studio helps tell us it's Windows, not Unix or embedded
o MFC, COM, or Win32 - again, helps tell us it's Windows, not Unix or embedded
o Windows programming or Windows GUI - again, helps tell us it's Windows, not Unix or embedded
o Database, SQL, Oracle, MySQL
o Degree in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, or Mechanical engineering
o Software Engineer in one or more job titles
o CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing)
o FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
o Terms like manufacturing, machine tools, machining, automation, robotics, 3D vision, 3D graphics, CNC machines, etc.
o Mathematics, vectors/3D vectors, transformations/3D transformations, etc.
o Embedded (embedded programmer or programming, embedded engineer, embedded software engineer, embedded systems, etc.)
o Controls engineer
o QA and/or Test Engineer
o C# without any mention of C+
experience
o C and/or Assembly (or Assembler) - but we want to see the C+
experience specifically
o Basic, Visual Basic, VB, VB6, Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic.NET, VB.NET, etc.
o Hardware development and/or testing (especially PCB design/testing, circuit board design/testing, etc.)
o DSP, microcontroller, microprocessor, kernel, chip programming, 8085, Motorola, etc.
o PLC and/or HMI - these are typically lower level controls, not Windows PC-based
o Linux, Unix, HP-US, IRIX, Solaris, RTOS, Real Time OS, Real Time operating system
o Web, Web pages, HTML, XML, Java, PHP, ASP
Bottom Line Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. Strong C+
programming for Windows.
3. Software application experience in a manufacturing or industrial company.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
